European football’s big guns are set for a battle to sign Joao Felix from Benfica.
The 19-year-old has been hailed as the “next Cristiano Ronaldo” after scoring 20 goals in 43 games this season for the Portuguese champions.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for the attacking midfielder, but according to TVi24 Manchester City are leading the chase ahead of Barcelona.
Other clubs reportedly interested include Liverpool, Juventus and Atletico Madrid.
Cancelo deal close
Treble winner Manchester City are also close to signing Juventus full-back Joao Cancelo. The 24-year-old Portuguese is valued at £52.9m. (BBC Sport/Record)
Inter eye Lukaku and Moses
Inter Milan are expected to appoint Antonio Conte as their new head coach next week. Former Chelsea boss Conte, who will replace Luciano Spalletti, already has a wishlist of players that he wants at his new club. Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea winger Victor Moses are linked with a move to the San Siro. (Sky Sports)
Dybala discussions
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been “holding talks” with Juventus forward Paulo Dybala for at least a month. The Sun reports that the United gaffer is “desperate” to beef up his frontline in the summer. See more Man Utd transfer news here.
Tug-of-war for Trippier
Atletico Madrid and Napoli are both keen on Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kieran Trippier. Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is “willing to listen to offers this summer” for the 28-year-old England international. (Daily Mirror)
Spurs move for Leeds star
Leeds United winger Jack Clarke has impressed in the Championship this season and Premier League clubs have been keeping a close eye on the 18-year-old. It’s reported that Tottenham have launched a £10m move for the exciting Leeds prospect. (Daily Mail)
Wolves plan £30m Marega move
Wolverhampton Wanderers are plotting a £30m bid for Porto striker Moussa Marega. Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo wants to strengthen his attack and has made the Mali international a priority summer signing. (Daily Mirror)
Wilson wanted
Liverpool winger Harry Wilson is wanted by a host of clubs after impressing on loan this season at Derby County. The 22-year-old has helped Derby reach the Championship play-off final and should they get promoted to the Premier League Frank Lampard’s club would like to keep the Wales international. Newcastle United, Southampton and Brighton are also interested in Wilson, who is valued at £25m by Liverpool. (Sky Sports)
Strootman available
Marseille midfielder Kevin Strootman is available for a loan deal. Manchester United, Everton and West Ham have been offered the 29-year-old Dutch midfielder. (Sky Sports)
