Mauro Icardi 'not for sale', Chelsea told
But a big-money offer might be enough to lure the young striker away from Inter Milan

Chelsea are told by Inter Milan they'll have to splash the cash if they want to bring Mauro Icardi to the Bridge next season, while Liverpool set off in pursuit of Luciano Vietto.
•ŸŸ Newly-crowned League Cup champions Chelsea must pay in excess of £30m if they're to lure Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi to Stamford Bridge. According to the Daily Mail the Argentine is being tracked by the Blues and their interest has come to the attention of Inter's sporting director Piero Ausilio. Asked if the club would sell the 22-year-old if they received a big enough bid this summer, Ausilio replied: "We've got no intention of doing business. We're thinking of the present and future of this football club with Icardi … We're building a team to last for a long time with very talented, young players."
•ŸŸ Meanwhile the Daily Express says that Chelsea are planning "a shock move" for veteran Tottenham keeper Brad Friedel. The 43-year-old American gloveman – third choice at Tottenham behind Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm this season – is seen by Jose Mourinho as a reliable back-up to Thibaut Courtois with the Chelsea manager increasingly resigned to losing Petr Cech at the end of the season.

•ŸŸ According to caughtoffside, Liverpool are ready to table a £12m bid for Villarreal striker Luciano Vietto in the summer. The 21-year-old Argentine striker has been in eye-catching form this season in La Liga, scoring 16 goals all told, and caughtoffside claims that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers had identified the young hitman as a player who could add some bite to the Liverpool attack. Told of Liverpool's interest, Vietto is quoted as saying: "If these great teams come forward and make an offer, we'll see."
