If players don’t buy into Jose Mourinho’s way of life at Manchester United they could be sold - and that includes stars such as Paul Pogba. United’s board and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward “fully endorse” Mourinho’s approach and it’s “the boss’s way or out”. (The Independent)
N’Golo Kante: Chelsea to PSG
Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, but the 26-year-old has “little interest” in returning to France. Kante is the reigning PFA and FWA Player of the Year. (London Evening Standard)
Mahrez to make summer decision
Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez will decide his future at the end of the season. The Algerian was the subject of a failed transfer bid by Manchester City in January but says it is now “in the past”. On his future, he said: “In football players come, players leave, I’m not saying I’m coming or going. We always talk between me and the club, everything is good, so we will see in the summer if things come. At the moment I’m a Leicester player.” (Sky Sports)
Kalidou Koulibaly: Napoli to Chelsea
Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is wanted by a host of Premier League clubs and it appears that Chelsea lead the race to sign the 26-year-old. Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested in the Senegal international. (Daily Star)
Malcom: Bordeaux to Bayern Munich
Arsenal and Tottenham target Malcom is wanted by German giants Bayern Munich. It’s expected that the Brazilian winger will leave Bordeaux at the end of the season and Bayern manager Jupp Heynckes said the 21-year-old is “certainly in the focus of our scouting department”. (London Evening Standard)
Mohamed Elyounoussi: FC Basel to Arsenal/Leicester/Southampton
Arsenal, Leicester City and Southampton are “weighing up moves” for Basel forward Mohamed Elyounoussi. The Norway international, 23, scored against Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday and impressed watching scouts. (ESPN)
