Xherdan Shaqiri: Stoke City to Liverpool
Switzerland playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri has arrived at Anfield for a medical after cutting short his holiday, Sky Sports reports.
Liverpool have met the £13.5m release clause in Shaqiri’s Stoke City contract and he is set to leave the relegated club after 84 appearances. Shaqiri played at the World Cup for Switzerland and scored the winner in the group match against Serbia.

According to The Sun, Stoke are keen on signing Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo on loan as part of the deal that will take Shaqiri to Merseyside. The England under-21 international has had loan spells at Wigan and Wolves.
