Final few days of transfer window may prove busy for Chelsea
Premier League transfer news and rumours
Chelsea to offer Kante new deal amid PSG interest
Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has refused to comment on the speculation linking the French giants with Chelsea star N’Golo Kante, as the clock ticks down to the end of the summer transfer window.
Midfielder Kante, who won the World Cup with France this summer, has been widely reported to be a target for PSG, says FourFourTwo. But Tuchel said: “It is not fair and I do not like it if other coaches talk about situations of players who are playing for other clubs. So there is no comment on Kante, of course, not for the transfer window.”

Kante’s performances, and PSG’s interest, has prompted Chelsea to offer the 27-year-old a new, five-year contract worth almost £290,000 a week, The Times reports. That would make him the highest-paid player at Stamford Bridge.
Real want Courtois, not Willian
Following British media reports yesterday that Real Madrid had made a £100m bid for Chelsea duo Thibaut Courtois and Willian, Spanish newspaper Marca says that while Real’s interest in Belgium goalkeeper Courtois “remains firm and genuine” - but that the European champions are not in the market for Willian. In fact, Brazil international Willian is “very happy at Chelsea and living in London”, says the Daily Mirror.

We saw his progress during the second half of the season.” (Sky Sports)
