Kante to Liverpool?
Chelsea star midfielder N’Golo Kante may be considering a move to Liverpool, according to a fan who spent the evening with the French World Cup winner at the weekend.
Kante made headlines yesterday when it emerged that after missing his train from St Pancras to Paris, he visited a mosque and then hung out with some football supporters.

The 27-year-old watched Match of the Day, ate curry and enjoyed a game of Fifa with the fans, the Daily Star reports. One of the men was Liverpool supporter @jahrul999, who claims to have asked Kante if he would consider a switch to Anfield.
“World Cup winner, former premier league player of the year, 2 time premiership winner casually joined us to watch MOTD after visiting a local mosque,” @jahrul999 wrote on Twitter. “True definition of being humble. What a man. Not to mention he ate curry loooool. Asked him to join Liverpool and he said he will think about it.”
Sterling and City ‘reach impasse’ in contract talks
The Guardian reports that contract talks have stalled between Manchester City and Raheem Sterling. The England forward’s current deal expires in the summer of 2020 and he “wants to become one of City’s best-paid players, with a rise to a basic of £220,000 at least”. Despite the slow pace of negotiations, City boss Pep Guardiola said recently: “It’s well known we’re delighted with him and would like him to continue. My club knows my opinion and we share that. After that, it is [up to] the club and the agent.”
Heung-min Son: Tottenham to Bayern Munich
Tottenham forward Heung-min Son is a target for German champions Bayern Munich. After winning the Asian Games with South Korea this summer, the 26-year-old has been exempted from military service in his country. Son previously played in Germany for Bayer Leverkusen, and Bayern are keen to bring him back to the Bundesliga. (The Sun)

Federico Chiesa: Fiorentina to Chelsea
Along with Aleksandar Mitrovic, Chelsea may make a January move for Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa. The 20-year-old is valued at more than £63m, and Chelsea are in “pole position” to nab him ahead of Napoli. (The Sun)
