Rabiot wants to be a Red
With his contract expiring at the end of the season Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has become one of the most in-demand players in European football.
The 23-year-old has rejected a new deal at PSG and looks set to leave Paris. Tottenham are reportedly interested but according to The Sun he has rejected a move to north London because he wants to sign for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Giroud back to France?
Another French star whose future is unclear is Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud. With Chelsea signing Gonzalo Higuain on loan Giroud’s future may be away from Stamford Bridge. The 32-year-old says his priority is to remain in the Premier League, however, he has not ruled out a move back to France. (Goal.com)
Chelsea to re-sign Ake?
Chelsea are keen on re-signing defender Nathan Ake from Bournemouth. The 23-year-old permanently moved to the Cherries for £20m in 2017, but Chelsea have first refusal and are “ready to bid £40m”. The Dutchman has also been linked with Manchester United and Tottenham. (Daily Star)
Liverpool in for Tonali
Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, 18, is a target for Liverpool and the Anfield side have “opened talks” with his Italian club. The £30m-rated Tonali is also linked with Juventus, Roma, Inter Milan and AC Milan. (Gazzetta dello Sport)
PSG bid for Gueye
French champions Paris Saint-Germain have made a £21.5m bid for Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye. However, the Toffees insist he is not for sale. (Sky Sports)
Palaversa still on City’s radar
Manchester City are still in talks with Hajduk Split over a £5.5m deal for 18-year-old midfielder Ante Palaversa. The Croatia Under-19 captain is seen as a potential long-term replacement for Fernandinho. (Daily Mail)
City to City for Chilwell?
Leicester City and England left-back Ben Chilwell is linked with a summer move to Premier League champions Manchester City. (ESPN)
Bolasie in demand
After cutting short his loan spell at Aston Villa, Everton winger Yannick Bolasie could be on the move this month. Newcastle United, Burnley, Cardiff City and former club Crystal Palace could be interested in the 29-year-old. (Daily Mirror)
Saints look to win Adams race
Birmingham City star Che Adams has reportedly been scouted by 12 Premier League clubs. Southampton have made an £8m first move for the 14-goal striker but they could face competition from Fulham, Leicester City, Burnley and Wolves. (Daily Mirror)
Palace keen on Cahill
Chelsea centre-half Gary Cahill had been linked with a move to Fulham but according to reports Crystal Palace are now interested in the 33-year-old. (Sky Sports)
No departures expected at United
Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not expect any of his squad to leave Old Trafford ahead of the deadline on Thursday. Potential departures include defender Matteo Darmian, but Solskjaer said: “At the moment, I can see everyone staying at the club because no deal has been done with anyone, but then again there is still a few more days. It will be good to get the window closed so we can just focus on the squad and just improving the ones that stay here.” (Sky Sports)
