Carers Trust is the UK's largest charity supporting unpaid carers. A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who, owing to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction, cannot cope without their support. Anyone can be a carer, and three in five of us probably will be at some point in our lives. Carers Trust provides a range of support, including: 24/7 online help, small grants to buy essential items, respite care, emotional support, and practical advice and training.
We do this with the help of Network Partners, a unique group of independent carers centres, Crossroads Care schemes and young carers services across the UK. There are seven million carers in the UK, including 700,000 young carers, and they need our support. To find out more and to donate please visit www.carers.org.
