Phylicia Rashad, Bill Cosby's former cast mate, says she was misquoted in a way that made it sound as if she was dismissing the sexual assault allegations against the comedian.

On Wednesday, Rashad was quoted as telling Showboz 411 that the rape allegations against Cosby were part of conspiracy designed to tarnish his legacy, saying "forget these women." But in an a subsequent interview with ABC, Rashad said that while she did think the media's treatment of Cosby was unfair, she never disparaged the accusers themselves.
