Betty White — national treasure, comedic legend, and tied for best Golden Girl with Estelle Getty — won the People's Choice Award for Favorite TV Icon Wednesday night. She capped her win with a heartfelt acceptance speech.

After making her way onstage with a little help from actor Chris Evans, White received a huge bouquet of roses and joked that "when Melissa McCarthy came up...she said she'd stay with us as long as you'd let her, well you've abused the privilege with me." White thanked all of her supporters and added: "Can you imagine, the People's Choice at 93? I mean, that's ridiculous!" Watch her speech below. --Catherine Garcia
