House bill would let small businesses hire vets and avoid ObamaCare mandates

Veterans and small businesses would benefit from new Republican legislation approved unanimously by the House that would exempt smaller companies from providing health care coverage to veterans who already receive health care from the Veterans Affairs Department or the military.

Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) sponsored the bill, which, according to AP, "supporters say... would encourage employers to hire veterans."

Even the White House is on board, issuing a statement in support of "commonsense improvements" to ObamaCare.
