North Korea accuses U.S. of 'inveterate repugnancy' over Sony hack sanctions

North Korea on Sunday struck back at the U.S. over new sanctions aimed at punishing the Hermit Kingdom for its alleged role in the massive Sony cyberattack.
Imposed Friday, the sanctions target three companies and 10 government officials the U.S. claims had a hand in the hack. North Korea responded by continuing to deny any involvement in the breach, instead accusing Washington of "groundlessly stirring up bad blood."
"The persistent and unilateral action taken by the White House to slap 'sanctions' against the DPRK [North Korea] patently proves that it is still not away from inveterate repugnancy and hostility toward the DPRK," a foreign ministry spokesman said, according to the state-run media.
