A suspected U.S. drone fired missiles at two compounds in northwest Pakistan Friday, killing seven alleged militants, The Associated Press reports.

The attacks were in the North Waziristan region, at the compounds of the Punjabi Taliban and of Uzbek militants in the Shawal area. Pakistani officials told AP that security forces on Thursday killed the alleged planner behind the recent attack on a Peshawar school, which left 148 people dead.
