President Barack Obama may be vacationing in Hawaii, but he didn't miss a chance to support Sony's decision to screen The Interview on Christmas after all, in limited theaters.
"The president applauds Sony’s decision to authorize screenings of the film," spokesman Eric Schultz said Tuesday. "As the president made clear, we are a country that believes in free speech, and the right of artistic expression."
It still remains to be seen if Obama himself will pop some popcorn and take in the comedy, starring Seth Rogen and, of course, James Flacco.
