Los Angeles prosecutors won't charge Bill Cosby
Los Angeles prosecutors said Tuesday they will not file any charges against Bill Cosby, The Associated Press reports. Earlier this month in a civil lawsuit, Judy Huth accused the comedian of molesting her at age 15.
Cosby's attorney countered that Huth attempted to extort $250,000 from the comedian before she sued and spoke with police detectives.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said they will not file a misdemeanor charge because the statute of limitations has passed on the 1974 incident.
