The Walking Dead spin-off will be set in Los Angeles
Walking Dead fans are about to get a look at the zombie apocalypse in a different corner of the country. TVLine reports that the upcoming Walking Dead spin-off will be set in Los Angeles, where zombies will be free to wander up and down the 405. (The traffic should be more or less comparable.)
The new setting is thousands of miles away from Rick Grimes and company, making it unlikely that the new band of survivors will ever cross paths with the old one. And the two shows might also be separated by time; rumors have repeatedly swirled that the Walking Dead spin-off will be set shortly after the zombie epidemic begins, as opposed to the time jump caused by Rick Grimes' coma in the original series.
