'Oh God, it's Mom': Pundit's mother calls into C-SPAN to nag sons about family time
Think your parents are embarrassing? They are likely no match for Joy Woodhouse, who decided to check in on her two fully-grown sons, Dallas and Brad Woodhouse, as they took live callers during a discussion about bipartisanship on C-SPAN's Washington Journal. When the show gets a call from "someone down South," the moment the caller begins speaking, a look of horrified recognition crosses Dallas' face. "Oh God, it's Mom," he says, putting his face in his hands.
Mrs. Woodhouse goes on to lightly berate her two sons for arguing during the holidays. "I disagree that all families are like ours," she says. "I don't know many families that are fighting on Thanksgiving. I was very glad that this Thanksgiving was the year that you two were supposed to go to your in-laws, and I'm hoping that you two will have some of this out of your system when you come here for Christmas."
The anchor then takes the time to ask Mrs. Woodhouse about her sons and her politics, and confirms that the call was totally unplanned. Watch the highly entertaining clip below. --Samantha Rollins
