The U.S. House of Representatives passed the $1.1 trillion federal spending bill for the 2015 fiscal year, just a few hours before government funding was to run out.
The final vote was 219-206, with 162 Republicans and 57 Democrats voting yes and 67 Republicans and 139 Democrats voting no. The measure has now been sent to the Senate.
