Running back Ray Rice says he has accepted his punishment for knocking his wife, Janay, unconscious and that he hopes the NFL will now give him a "second chance."

In an interview with Today that aired Tuesday, Rice said he made a "horrendous mistake" in not publicly apologizing to Janay in their joint press conference earlier this year. Janay apologized at that press conference, though Ray says he did not because the couple was "still under legal situations." --Jon Terbush
