Ray Rice suspension lifted

A judge on Friday lifted the indefinite suspension the NFL had doled out to Ray Rice after a video was made public showing the then–Baltimore Raven beating his wife in an elevator.
The NFL players' union said that Rice had won an appeal claiming the NFL had overstepped its authority, and that U.S. District Judge Barbara S. Jones had "vacated immediately" the suspension.
He is now reportedly eligible to sign with another NFL team.
