Oops: Freeway sign in Los Angeles debuts with a huge mistake

If there was a Typo Olympics, this one would take the gold medal.
In early November, a subcontractor installed a sign for Olympic Boulevard on the busy 710 freeway in Los Angeles. There was one glaring error on the giant exit sign: Olympic had been spelled wrong, with an "I" replacing the "Y."
The misspelled sign was quickly covered with a tarp, but it lives on in infamy thanks to drivers who snapped shots and shared them on social media.
