The Wonder Woman movie has found its director. Michelle MacLaren has been hired to take over the project, working with a team of writers to bring the project to movie screens in 2017.

Very little is currently known about the Wonder Woman movie. Gal Gadot will star as Wonder Woman, following an introduction as a supporting character in 2016's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

MacLaren has never directed a feature film, but she's helmed episodes for some of the biggest shows on television, including Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Breaking Bad.
