White House: Chuck Hagel 'wasn't up to the job'

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel will step down Monday, and the White House is being fairly blunt about the reason for his departure.
"He wasn't up to the job," a senior administration official told NBC.
Hagel is resigning "under pressure," as The New York Times first reported, though he will remain in place until a successor is confirmed.
