Watch a homeless street dog get a life-saving makeover

A shaggy, wheat-colored mutt was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles earlier this year. He was filthy and his hair was tangled with painful burrs.
The pup named Charlie was taken to an overcrowded, high-kill shelter where he had only two weeks to get adopted or he would be put down.
Luckily for Charlie, the good people at Hollywood Grooming knew what to do. He was shaved down, clipped, cleaned, and given a smart brown bandana. Thanks to his new look, Charlie was adopted in just two days. Watch the heartwarming transformation below. --Lauren Hansen
