80-year-old Charles Manson cleared to marry 26-year-old woman
Convicted murderer Charles Manson has been granted a marriage license in California to wed a 26-year-old woman who visits him in prison, according to The Associated Press. Afton Elaine Burton, who goes by the name "Star," told the AP the two would wed next month.
Star, who left the Midwest nine years ago to be near Manson, runs several websites asserting Mason's innocence. "Y'all can know that it's true," she said of the wedding. "It's going to happen. I love him. I'm with him."
