On Monday, the Vatican confirmed rumors that Pope Francis will be making his first visit to the United States next year, in September. The pope will attend the World Meeting of the Families, held next year in Philadelphia, and he will say mass on Sept. 27 on Philly's Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Francis will be only the fourth pope to visit the U.S.
