Captain America 3 has found its villain
Having bested Red Skull and The Winter Soldier, Captain America has found his latest nemesis: Daniel Bruhl. Marvel has announced that Bruhl will star as an as-yet unnamed villain in Captain America: Civil War, which is due to hit theaters in 2016.
Sources at Variety indicate that Bruhl's villain is intended to carry over through several Marvel films. Though he may not be the main threat in Captain America: Civil War, it's possible he'll be the top villain in Doctor Strange, which is widely rumored to star Benedict Cumberbatch.
Bruhl, a German actor, appeared in The Bourne Ultimatum and Inglourious Basterds before landing a breakout role opposite Thor star Chris Hemsworth in 2013's acclaimed drama Rush.
