The New England Patriots commit huge social media fail with this racist tweet
In an attempt to rack up more Twitter followers, the New England Patriots yesterday promised to make a custom jersey for their millionth Twitter follower. Everything worked as planned...except that the follower had an insanely racist handle (screengrab via Mashable):
The Patriots deleted the tweet and apologized, saying their "filtering system" had failed, whatever that means.
