Joseph Gordon-Levitt to play Edward Snowden in Oliver Stone movie
Oliver Stone's latest politically-oriented movie has finally found its star. Stone's upcoming biopic of NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden will star Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
The Guardian reports that Stone's screenplay draws inspiration from two books about Snowden: Luke Harding's The Snowden Files and Anatoly Kucherena's Time of the Octopus. The film will begin production in January.
