Watch the grim final trailer for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is the final installment in the Hobbit trilogy, and this last trailer makes it clear that Peter Jackson is pulling out all the stops for his last trip to Middle-Earth:
This grim final trailer for The Battle of the Five Armies shows the tension developing between the band of dwarves under the leadership of Thorin Oakenshield. All the while, the rest of Middle-Earth is engaging in a massive battle between elves, orcs, goblins, humans, wargs, and eagles — a scene that will reportedly stretch for 45 unbroken minutes.
"Prepare for the defining moment of the Middle-Earth legend," says the trailer. We'll see if The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies can live up to that lofty promise when it hits theaters on December 17.
