The company announced that it will add a button that allows users to donate to three nonprofit organizations that are fighting the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Facebook Inc. is also sending satellite communication and WiFi terminals to Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone to create better internet and phone access, which can be used for reporting outbreaks and gathering information.

The announcement comes after CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, donated $25 million to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to fight Ebola.
