Republican Steve Daines wins Montana Senate race

Republicans have scored another Senate seat pickup in Montana, where GOPer Steve Daines is projected to easily best Democrat Amanda Curtis.

Democrats were expected to lose the seat following the retirement of Sen. Max Baucus (D.) The win puts the GOP two a net seats away from reclaiming control of the Senate.
