A new WMUR/University of New Hampshire poll released Thursday finds Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D) leading GOP challenger Scott Brown 50 percent to 42 percent. That's a slight uptick from the last WMUR survey, in which Shaheen led by six points, 47 percent to 41 percent, though the increase still falls within the latest poll's 4.2 percentage point margin of error.

A late Brown surge appears to have tapered off, and FiveThirtyEight now gives Shaheen an 80 percent chance of winning re-election.
