Hitch the movie will soon be Hitch the television show: Fox is developing a half-hour comedy based on the 2005 film starring Will Smith as a professional dating consultant.
The Hollywood Reporter says the single-camera show will be "a workplace comedy that explores dating and sexual politics." Will Smith and Jada Smith will serve as executive producers.
This is just the latest in a long string of movie remakes hitting the small screen. Fox is also working on Big and Monster-in-Law projects, while CBS has Rush Hour and In Good Company in the works and NBC has adaptations of Marley & Me, Problem Child, and The Money Pit.
