The Kansas City Royals advance to the World Series
The Kansas City Royals on Wednesday night completed a four-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles to advance to the World Series for the first time since 1985. The Royals defeated the Orioles, 2-1, to take Game Four and the American League Championship Series.
The Royals will face either the St. Louis Cardinals or the San Francisco Giants. The Giants lead that series, 2-1.
