Angelina Jolie receives honorary damehood from Queen of England

Angelina Jolie received an honorary damehood from Queen Elizabeth II during a ceremony on Friday, for her humanitarian work seeking to end war-zone sexual violence.
The honor for Jolie was first announced in June, and today's ceremony of a private audience with the Queen made it official.
However, as BBC News also explains, because she is a U.S. citizen, Jolie cannot be addressed under protocol as "Dame Angelina." --Eric Kleefeld
