GOP Rep.: The Obama-Clay Aiken economy is 'killing us'


Clay Aiken, you may remember, is running for Congress in North Carolina. And in a debate Monday night, the American Idol star's competitor, Rep. Renee Ellmers (R ), did her best to tie Aiken to President Obama and his dismal approval rating in the state.
"This Obama-Aiken economy is just killing us," she said.
Ellmers has polled comfortably ahead of Aiken and is expected to win re-election with ease.
