Mitch McConnell trails in latest Kentucky Senate poll

Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) may not be out of the woods yet, as a new SurveyUSA poll shows him trailing in his re-election bid.
Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes leads McConnell 46 percent to 44 percent among likely voters, according to the poll. The finding is a six-point swing from the last SurveyUSA poll in August.
That said, almost every other recent poll of the race has shown McConnell comfortably ahead. The Huffington Post's poll aggregator puts McConnell at 47.4 percent to Grimes' 42.2 percent. And the latest New York Times forecast gives McConnell a 92 percent chance of winning.
