Olympic champion Michael Phelps said Sunday he would be taking a break from swimming to "attend a program" following his DUI arrest last week.
The 29-year-old Phelps came out of retirement earlier this year and had been training with an eye toward the 2016 Olympics. He was arrested early Tuesday morning in Maryland after allegedly driving 85 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone while intoxicated.
