ISIS extremists released an internet video on Friday in which an ISIS fighter beheads a man the group claims is British hostage Alan Henning, The Associated Press reports.
At the end of the video, the legitimacy of which AP was not able to immediately confirm, the militants threaten to next kill a captive they claim is an American. The masked fighter addresses President Obama, saying that as long as the airstrikes against ISIS continue, so too will the retaliatory beheadings.
The alleged victim in the video, Alan Henning, is a 47-year-old aid worker who was taken captive in Syria on Dec. 26. This is the fourth video ISIS has released in which a captive is killed; the first three confirmed victims were American reporters James Foley and Steven Sotloff, and British aid worker David Haines.
