Saturday Night Live returned last night just in time to skewer the NFL for its poor handling of a spate of domestic violence cases. And in the segment, a faux-commissioner Roger Goodell made a telling verbal slip in announcing how the league would respond to future cases of domestic abuse.
"We want to be part of the solution," he said.
"What this says is we fight women," he added. "Oh, excuse me: We fight for women." --Jon Terbush
