The Original Nomad Collapsible Hot Tub ($550) can be a quick upgrade to a backyard, but the manufacturer advises setting up the vinyl-sided circular tub near a water source and using a gas-powered water pump to fill it. A stainless-steel heater coil ($625) circulates the water while warming about 100 gallons to 100 degrees in roughly an hour. The tub can fit four adults and packs into a 16- by 16-inch dry bag.
