Starbucks is testing out beer lattes
Forget pumpkin spice lattes — Starbucks is testing beer lattes in a handful of its stores.
The Dark Barrel Latte is designed to taste like dark stout beers, thanks to a flavored syrup. The Irish Independent reports that the latte is topped with dark caramel sauce and whipped cream, and it apparently "tastes just like Guinness."
The latte is only available in certain test markets, including Columbus, Ohio, but it may be offered in more locations across the U.S. if its popularity increases. (And, no, the drink doesn't contain any actual beer.)
