Kanye West on Friday halted a show in Sydney, Australia, and demanded that every single fan in attendance stand up. The problem: There were at least two handicapped people in the audience.
"I can't do the rest of this show until everybody stand up," said West, whose most recent album is entitled Yeezus, and who has compared himself to God. "Unless you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and sh*t."
West then singled out two people who remained seated, and asked the crowd to check if they were in wheelchairs. One reportedly displayed a prosthetic limb. The other was indeed in a wheelchair.
Having confirmed that the two had disabilities, West continued his show as if nothing had happened. --Jon Terbush
