A Married...With Children spin-off could soon hit the small screen
Brace yourselves, Married...With Children fans: A spin-off of the show is in the works, with Bud Bundy as the star.
Sony Pictures Television is taking out a pitch for the show, which would center on Bud and the life he now leads with his own family, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed. David Faustino is said to be on board to reprise the role, but there's no word yet on whether his co-stars — Ed O'Neill, Katey Sagal, and Christina Applegate — will be involved, nor has a writer or producer been named.
One of Fox's first original series, Married...With Children ran for 11 seasons before coming to an end in 1997. The Bundy family reunited Tuesday for Sagal's Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony. --Catherine Garcia
