Dick Cheney was not president, New York Times clarifies in correction

Former Vice President Dick Cheney was in fact the vice president, not the president, says The New York Times in a spit-take-inducing correction.

The correction appears on a Tuesday Jonathan Weisman story about Cheney advising the GOP on how to align itself against President Obama's foreign policy.
