Ray Rice's wife defends husband, criticizes media for 'horrible nightmare'

One day after the NFL indefinitely suspended Ray Rice, the running back's wife, Janay, took to Instagram to defend her husband and criticize the NFL's decision.
"I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like I'm mourning the death of my closest friend," she wrote in a post on Instagram. "But to have to accept the fact that it's reality is a nightmare in itself."
The Ravens on Monday cut Rice, and the NFL suspended him indefinitely, after video emerged of him knocking Janay unconscious in an Atlantic City elevator in February. Though details of the incident were already public — as was a video of Rice dragging Janay's limp body out of the elevator — the league claimed it had not seen the second tape until Monday, prompting the indefinite suspension.
