Cornell University has a Dragon Day, and 39 other college traditions

Did you know that each spring, students at Cornell University create a giant dragon and hold a Dragon Day?

That's just one of the many strange college traditions our sister site Mental Floss highlights in its video show this week. Some of the other interesting facts include Barnard students' building the ultimate party sub, complete with 700 feet of lined-up sandwiches, and Florida State University's cemetery for grass, known as "Sod Cemetery," to commemorate the university's football wins.
