Delaware Gov. Jack Markell (D) was in quite the pickle on Thursday after his office accidentally tweeted a suggestive photo of a model along with a tweet about Markell's plans to improve public education.
Markell's tweet was intended to announce his plan to allocate more than $5 million in Delaware's state funding to save six of its lowest-performing public schools. But a member of Markell's staff accidentally sent the tweet with a photo from 2010 of a model nicknamed "Precious Little." The Associated Press attributes the error to the staff member who "inadvertently deleted part of the photo link."
Gov. Markell's office was quick to delete the tweet and issue an official statement apologizing for the error. At least his office has a sense of humor about the situation: The statement said Gov. Markell's office wished that "the accidental link had been a cat video."
