"You can now do your laundry the same way that you make your coffee," said Dominic Basulto at The Washington Post. The Swash ($500) needs only 10 minutes and a small detergent pod to kill wrinkles and remove odors from a suit, sweater, or other garment. Meant to reduce the need for laundering and dry cleaning, the 4-foot-tall machine is sleek enough to be displayed in a bedroom, an office — even a man cave. If collaborators Whirlpool and Procter & Gamble market this right, "men will want to do laundry."
